I personally have never had a problem with this, but my brother uses the white line or even the edge of the road itself to keep in lane. When you are centred in the lane, (Even stop and check this if you have to), make a mental note of that spot on the car that intersects the white line/kerb from your viewpoint. ie. Where the kerb line disappears because the car is now in the way. Keep that spot aligned with the line and you'll stay centred. The only hard part is keeping it in view and looking forward too!

Again, not something I have a problem with. Unfortunately I have no advice as my getting lost usually involves seeing the turn I want too late and then getting lost finding somewhere to turn around!

Yes, either get your dad to calm down by telling him he doesn't help matters when he shouts. Or, preferably, get someone else to help you.

It is a fact that anyone can 'teach' you to drive, but the aim of it all is to learn to drive safely, and for that I recommend a professional.
