Well, yeah, but... disjointed isn't necessarily bad :-}. Besides, the only other alternative is to have little "two-person capsules;" stories written by only two people and perhaps with a password to prevent any others from logging in and altering it.
Alternatively, something I've seen done in other places is a full story, where people each contribute their own little shreds to the world, and everybody can read everything that everyone has posted to it. I think that's pretty cool. That kind of thing would be really neat to have around here, and shouldn't be very difficult for Sam to implement, if he is so inclined.
