'N Sync is basically just five alledged "cute guys" who can sing, and Britney is portrayed as a harem with questionable morals. > Make that "five alleged 'cute guys' who can *allegedly* sing", otherwise I agree.

My own tastes also include electronic music, or rather that section of it that does NOT have a simple all-fours bassdrum, because, er, I hate that. I definitely hate smurf techno. I definitely love IDM (mostly Aphex Twin and Squarepusher), Ambient (Aphex Twin, too) and D'n'B (bought "Metropol" by Lunatic Calm yesterday). Otherwise, there's some pretty nice rock music even today, at least if you look further down and outside the charts. I'm definitely not talking about Limp Bizkit. I'm talking about Muse, which most of you probably know, or Scumbucket. Judging by the name, the latter would be punk or something, but it isn't. According to reviews that I more than semi-agree with, it's a mixture of grunge and 60s/70s music (Beatles, Kinks, Hollies, that sort of thing; they covered "Bus Stop" by the latter on their last album). I also listen to rather weird things few people are interested in (AFAIK), so I won't go into detail about them.
