> 1. Who is/was the Ayatollah Khomeini?
A political/religious leader of one of the arab countries (Iran, I think?). I believe he is now deceased.
> 2. Is there a difference between the Republic of China and the Peoples' Republic of China? If so, what is it?
Yes, I think there is. One of them is a communist regime (the People's Republic) and the other is not. I'm also thinking that the Republic of China is another name for Taiwan or Formosa. But that's just what I think I know.
> 3. Is paganism a religion? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would say not. As I understand it, paganism is a rather loose term that encompasses various forms of idol / nature / spirit worship that are not part of an "official" religion.
> 4. Was the Setpember 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the United States (committed by the Arab terrorist group Al Qaeda) a response to the United States' pro-Israel Middle East policy? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes. I doubt that was the sole motivation, but I think Osama bin Laden has pretty clearly stated his reasons for his hatred of the United States, and that would be one of them.
> 5. What is the meaning of life?
The ultimate meaning or purpose of life (by life I assume you mean *all* life; all of creation, and not just human life, although I suppose my answer would be the same even if you didn't) is to bring glory to the Creator of life.
