Seriously, though, celebrities don't interest me. As far as I'm concerned, they're just people. And I'd be more interested on being around people whom I already know I like than people who are "famous." Perspective has bee a theme on this forum lately, so let's use it again; the people I know (I can include you guys in this, too :-}) are famous to me. These people who appear on television and in movies - well, I've heard of them, but I've also heard of Duke Offaly and I don't have the vaguest idea who he is, either. I wouldn't get all giddy if he came into the room - I also wouldn't if, say, Bobby McFerrin came in, either.
