When drinking port, you can taste the different flavors in the wine by moving your tongue around. With a little bit of port in your mouth, raise the tip of your tongue. Then extend your tongue, but curl it behind your lower teeth. Then relax your tongue to its normal lying in your mouth state. Three different flavors, same sip of wine.

Also try aerating the port in your mouth. Yet another flavor.

Oh, make sure your mouth is closed. Don't drool your port.
