Hi All, Just discovered RinkWorks - hilarious. I've read the "Pickled Beets" thread, and it reminded me of the same joke, in different form:

A guy gets a PhD in education and a job with a southern school district,
to find out what they can do to raise the level of achievment. He goes
into a class; they are studying religion. The expert points to a student
in the class. He says, "You there. Who knocked down the walls of
Jericho?" The student pauses a long time, looks at him sullenly, and
says, "I didn't do it." The expert turns to the teacher, who says to
him, "I know that boy Stevie Long, and he didn't do it." So the expert
gives up on the class and the teacher. He goes to the principal and
tells him the story. The principal says, "Now I know Stevie Long and
his family. They're a good Christian family. If Stevie says he didn't do
it, he didn't do it!" So the expert goes back to the Superintendent of
Schools, who hired him, and says, "I quit. There's no way to straighten
out this mess." The Super. says, "Don't quit. That's why we hired you.
We need you. For God's sake! We'll pay for the damned walls!"
