But you are right, in my opinion, that it would
be dumb for us to let down because the
terrorists would enjoy a "timeout." Even if this
was a war on Islam, it would make no sense
to back down for Ramadan.

Exactly. What I find most, well not amusing,
but...peculiar, is that the very countries that BG
named, Egypt, Syria, et al. are calling for us to
cease our operations during Ramadan.
Nothing like some good old fashioned
doublespeak.
