I won't ignore the problem. It would do my son a great injustice if he does turn out to be ADD or ADHD. But I don't think he fits the description completely anyway. I have, however, changed the way I deal with him when he acts out and it seems to be working. Now, if I could only get my husband to do the same :). I think when it comes down to it he will do fine in school (he starts next year). The main reason I posted this concept was to see if anyone else had heard of it and had more insight into the concept. The more I think about it, the more I realize any child would respond more positively with the kind of treatment they recommend. I just found out about this Monday and have done some research to find what it's all about, but not much.

Good to hear your managing without meds.
