My parents didn't give me a middle name specifically for that purpose. It's sort of a family tradition. All of the men on my father's side were given their mother's maiden name as their middle name to balance it out, I suppose.
My grandfather was the product of two Parkinson's (not related), so his name is Blaine Parkinson Parkinson, which, I think, is terribly clever.
