Why, when we have 8½" × 11" paper, did the paper companies decide to start printing 8" × 10½"? Now all the paper in my briefcase is misaligned. And how come notebooks almost all come in the smaller of the two sizes? I swear, the people who make these decisions must all be possessed by demons.
