I completely agree, those comments in particular were why I thought the guy was off his rocker. The other stuff I wasn't sure about - thanks to wintermute, Philbee, and Brunnen-G as well for their input. It did help to explain the issues this writer brought up. I should have known better than to read The Nation if I wanted intelligent analysis I guess.
