What OS/browser are you using that's causing this to happen, anyway?

Only other cases I've seen of it happening are AOL 3.0 browser (back when Fobulis only had access to an old Win3.1 dinosaur) and WebTV (as experienced by Mike/Pennystamp). But they quickly got annoying in both of those cases as well.
