I was a senorita (I was considering Betsy Ross, a Southern Belle, and an outlaw, also). My mom, though, had a great costume. She was the Spa Queen--pink towel wrapped around her, tinfoil crown, lots and lots of rhinestone jewelry, and great sequined high heels (with little white socks). I wish I'd gotten a pic of her. My brother was a vacationing ghost (ghost costume+Hawaiian lei and beachcomber hat with cobwebs). He wanted to be Osama Bin Laden (scariest thing he could think of, y'know?), but Mom told him that was in poor taste ;-) Dad wore Hawaiian stuff.
