I'm blonde, too. Most people either got it when I told them I was a geisha or else didn't ask, though. They asked more what I was talking about when I told them 'Arigato' after they gave me candy. I really wish I'd remembered to look up the Japanese for 'Trick or Treat'... still, I don't think Japanese people celebrate Halloween as a rule, so it would be a literal translation that would not make much sense to any Japanese people, would it?
