When I was in college, I use to work in the college food service's distribution warehouse, as an order picker. That meant visiting various locations in the warehouse to pull goods off the shelves and stacking them onto these huge metal carts which were then shrink-wrapped and loaded onto a box truck for delivery to the various food preparation locations on campus. Pulling stuff from the coolers was bad enough, but I really hated it when my orders contained a lot of frozen stuff. You always had to "suit up" in a parka (and the ones provided were old and stinky) and upon coming out I always had to spend several minutes defogging my glasses. (This was in Florida. Meaning extremely humid air outside the freezer.) I took to carrying a washcloth in my pocket for the express purpose of wiping the condensation from my glasses, which were nearly instantly coated with fog every time I stepped from the freezers back outside. Gah. You don't want to try to maneuver one of those huge metal carts while you're effectively blind.
Still, I don't want contacts.
