I bath / shower first thing in the morning before I put my contacts in. Mostly because getting water behind them is the best way to get eye infections, so my optician tells me.

If I were to shower in the middle of the day, I'd probably take them out, but as that never happens, I don't really know.

I wear contacts that I can keep in for a month at a time, but I take them out every night, because otherwise I have difficulty getting oxygen to my corneas. Don't really know why, though. It's just the way my eyes work.
