The battlefield was nice. It's hard to think of a horrible battle at such a beautiful place. Driving through Virginia was, to say the least, colorful.
Wow! You were all of ten minutes from where I grew up! The battlefield really is a beautiful place. Did you get to hear any of the good ghost stories? It's fascinating. Probably more so if you haven't spent all of your childhood hearing all about it.
