I still can't figure out how to get the picture from the dining hall.... I think it's something to do with the rope and the battlements, but a guard always interrupts me. I have the following items:

20 Bronze Coins
Guard's Sword
Tinderbox
Portrait
Map
8 Red Gemstones
Stone of Strengthening
Torch
Clear Focus Stone
Magnifying Glass
16 Black Gemstones
Food Rations
Wire Clippers
Piece of Trash
6 Apples
Rope
Key of Opening
Crate

Help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
