Personally, I don't find a ch sound in German. In Tennessee the G is pronounced like the j in jump. There is a long story about how the sailors on an English ship pronounced it "Jarman." I almost hate to ask, but how do you pronounce Julian? That was my father's name. How"alemons"ard
