Thank you so much for your prompt reply. It is much appreciated. Are you in fact telling me that I have still to discover other things in the caves before I can continue on my mission. So far i have found the pillar with the bugs and the bats hovering around it, the mine tunnels that are too dark and scarey to travel along as well as the pond of water. I presume that the pillar has to be knocked down with some object that I haven't got (right /wrong?) and also get into the tunnels - maybe with a stronger light? If I need other obects to acheive these things please tell me in which section of the game I should be looking. I am all out of ideas. Thanks for helping
