I heard about a host on MTV who had the following gimmick: He would hold his hand up with the palm facing the camera, all five fingers stretched, and say: "Here are five fingers. If I fold the two to the right and the two to the left, there is only one left. Now watch as I turn my hand". He proceeded to do so, and suddenly, a black spot appears where his finger was...

It's pointless if you obey it by the letter, but experience shows that the best way to maximise the number of "aware" people (that doesn't look or sound right, but it'll have to do) is to go overboard like this, increasing peoples awareness by making people like us discuss the absurdity of it.
