I think I've done something wrong.. I can't get the housekeeper to help me at all, did I mess up completely by opening the oven or something?

Anyways.. here's my inventory:

acorns, lavender, spade, iron key, silver key, gold key, pocket knife, gold sphinx, cogwheel, tourist brochure, stone head, bacon sandwich, translated papyrus. (thorough but sorta useless, ain't it? ^_^;)

What is it I'm missing? I've been everywhere and can't figure out what the hell to do now.

Just a few subtle hints would help.. thank you.
