Still no new scoot pics on my web site. I was having trouble downloading and installing the new site builder that Homestead has conjured up. I still haven't completed the process, because I need to get an updated Java and to do that I have to be sure there are no applets darting around in my PC. The problem is that, to me, Java is coffee and an applet is a small apple. Could it be an Apple laptop? Plus, the rest of the page, where I'm supposed to get the Java, is written in computer gibberish that I don't savvy. They always assume that you know what all that stuff means. I'm just now beginning to comprehend the difference between "download" and "install." For a while there, I thought they were synonyms. I just sent off my third letter to Homestead's tech support people. They sure a patient bunch. I just heard a bing bong. Maybe that's their reply coming in.
