I think today's "Zits" comic strip sums up a lot of what people have been saying today.

Dad: We can blame the video game industry for all of this student violence!
Jeremy: Right! And we can blame the automobile industry for all of these car accidents!
Dad: Ri-- wait...

no industry can be BLAMED for anything that occurs as a result of it. How each individual person takes each piece of information that is fed into their heads is up to them. Blaming anything on stereotypes that may or may not be in TPM (I refuse to take a position) is stupid.

And btw... I actually did find the whole "virgin birth" concept itself a little offensive.
