Of course it is. It's also supportive, happy, maddening, crazy-making, soothing, fascinating, thought provoking, procrastinating, friendly, irritating, and sometimes just plain nuts.

It's also a "virtual" home to a dozen of the most interesting people I know. Plus three of the most irritating. And five of the nicest.
