My wife went to the dentist and came back with this story:
On September 14, the dentist a young, healthy guy, walked out of the Yellowstone wilderness where he had been backpacking, and struck up a conversation with some hikers on their way in. After he told them how long he had been back in the boonies, they said, "You don't know what's happened, do you?" He said no, and they said, you better sit down. And that's when he first heard about the attack on New York and Washington.
