Stopping the internation sale of weapons will do nothing. And it's not like they can't make guns, either. If you have the right knowledge you can make a gun from common household items.

Not exactly a devastating weapon, but if you take some of your common household items - What is it, bleach and Drano that combines to form cyanide or some other nasty gas? - and pour them into a cup, and then shoot this cup through a window or something, you have a very deadly weapon that you did not buy from a weapons manufacturer. You could buy the parts at Home Depot, in fact. Hey, you could probably disassemble a public toilet and have all you need.

The index contains such fun and simple projects as: Napalm, fertilizer bombs, exploding lightbulbs, land mines, "A Different Kind Of Molotov". All can be made from easy-to-find substances, and you don't need to go to a military-supply depot or something to get them.

When I did my military service, I had an officer who claimed that the only thing you needed to wipe out the capital was a sausage: You'd bury it for a week or two, dig it up and throw it into the nearby lake, which happened to be a water reservoir for the fresh water supply ...
This is why many people fear biological warfare most of all.

jul"Q: What do you call a gorilla with a sausage in its hand? A: Sir!"ian
