On the topic of travel, I'm flying home to NYC in two weeks to visit my family and some old friends. I bought my ticket last month.

Since the eleventh, I've received many emails and phone calls from people who are expecting me, wanting to know if I was still coming. Yes, I still am. Some of them are amazed that I'm still going to New York, but I don't see any reason not to.

It's too bad that people are not in the mood for travel, like Howard said. I think that early Autumn is my favorite time of year for visiting the Northeast.
