The only cure for writer's block is to just write. Write anything. Do stream-of-consciousness until something clicks. Write about your day. Write about a character in a story you are writing or have written (I'm assuming you're talking fiction writing--if not, then ignore this bit of advice) in a completely different situation than you would ever put them in during the course of a story. Pur your action hero in a delicate diplomatic situation and see how s/he reacts. Kill off a character, and write up their encounter with St. Peter and their subsequent judgement. You may end up junking 99% of what you blurt out while doing this, but at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later, something will click and you'll get back on track.
