It was pretty cool, but I don't think it came out correctly at all. It placed me as a moderate. Other quizzes like this often have the two axes as (1) economic freedom and (2) personal freedom, which puts conservatism and liberalism in opposite corners instead of on the same axis. However, on that 2D field, modern American politics lies along a more authoritarian-to-libertarian line than a liberal-to-conservative one, and it has been slowly shifting and realigning itself that way. See the link at bottom for the picture of what I'm failing to describe well.

It's obviously impossible to create a totally accurate placement guide, but it seemed to me there was an unconscious leaning to the idea that "if government doesn't do something, then no one will." But then again, maybe I'm oversensitive to that, as *politically* I am smack in the libertarian corner. (I think conservatism is by far best for society, but society and government are two very different beasts.)
