How about the cashier's etiquette of placing the coins in the client's hand first, then handing over the paper bills? (Doing it the other way will make the coins slide off the bill and drop on the floor).
Hey, don't get me started. I wish cashiers here in the USA would learn this etiquette. It seems like most places I go, whether it's a supermarket or a fast food drive-through, they always give me my change all at once, bills and coins together. Usually with the receipt thrown in for bad measure. I hate this, because then I have to sit/stand/idle there for another minute while I sort out my change, putting the coins in a pocket, the bills in their wallet sleeve, and the receipt in the other wallet sleeve.
Sometimes I actually do this. Most of the time, I just stuff it all into a pocket or throw it on the dashboard to sort out later. It's quite frustrating.
