I got to learn about that in England this time! Funny story, actually... we were in a cab going from Heathrow to our hotel in London, and my mom had read in the tour book that London cabbies are generally congenial and a good source of information. So she asked him "Why do you drive on the wrong side of the road?" He immediately told her that they drive on the right side and it is WE who are wrong (semantics, eh!) and proceeded to tell us the entire story.

It's all France's fault. Somehow, most everything is France's fault... or so the cabbie's attitude would indicate. ;)
