Because in the newest version of the game(yes, it is still a gameboy game) there are 250(251, I think, if you count the one you can only get in crystal or with a game cheaty thing). Technically, in Pokemon Red or Blue you could say there were only 151. But in all three, Pokemon gold, silver and the new crystal there are 250(251). Either the question needs to be more specific, the answer needs to be changed or the question should be abolished. > > Mel"So I'm 16 and I play Pokemon. Want to make something of it?"anie
*Hey*! That's my question! So all that time I spent typing in tons and tons of trivia questions a year ago wasn't completely wasted! Not only does it mean that there are some trivia questions I'm guaranteed to get right, now, boosting my average on these from 0% to about 0.05% while frustrating everyone else because of my eclectic sphere of knowledge (which, if it ever was sphere-shaped, has now been shattered into small fragments and sprayed across the field of human study by a crop duster.
Er... sorry about that, though. When I wrote the question the existence of Pokémon Gold/Silver was but a vague rumor here in the States. I suppose, in hindsight, I should've written Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow, but that would've seemed rather anal at the time. (Like referring to Star Wars: Episode IV back before the prequel.) Still, anality equals safety in the chaotic world of video games. *sigh*
Ar"agrees that this should be changed, though for vanity's sake thinks it should just be edited rather than removed, maybe just making 250 the correct answer"thur
