I have been to the Korean War memorial, as well as the Vietnam memorial. They were all very stirring and heart wrenching in thier own ways, but none of them compared to this small museum on the other side of the world.
I know what you mean. There's something haunting about actually being there that no museum can ever really capture.
Not that I've ever been to Hiroshima, but I've been to a couple of Holocaust sites in Europe, and I intend to go to more.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki will definatly be on my itinerary if I ever go to Japan.
