I do. Come to think of it, this is actually what I base my entire reasoning on.

It seems to me as if you identify evil with sin, in which case I don't agree that unhappiness is always the result of evil.

Also, as you suggest, a world without evil would be so fundamentally different from what it is today that (1) any ideas we have about it are based entirely on faith, and (2) it is outside our reach for many generations to come. Only then comes the question of whether unhappiness is intrinsically good. And the answer to that is that, I think, is no. But that doesn't mean that I don't think it'll be there.
