The Tennessee constitution divides the state into three Grand Divisions; West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee. It's weird deciding exactly what is north and south and east and west in states. I live in California, and I was watching a Disneyland commercial once. They were having a deal for people who lived in southern California (not capitalized). Their definition of southern California was "...the ZIp codes from 90000" to so odd number that started with 9. So basically, according to Disneyland, if you live in a 9 ZIP code, you are in southern California.
