Well, I dunno where it comes from or anything. w00t isn't a word. It's just an exclamation, like "I just beat at Quake 3! w00t!". Most hax0r sp33k can be deciphered by context, i.e. if you see "I am 7337!" and whoever says it has just beatan at Quake 3, then you can safely assume that "7337" is synonymous with "good" or "cool".

Dunno if you actually care about any of that.
