I personally could never take notes while on
vacation. I'm a very visual person,and would
much rather take photographs, and leave the
rest to my memory. However, I do admire
people like Ell and Sam who can keep
diaries/journals of that sort.

Sam once said that he almost never throws
away email. He still has emails from years
and years ago. I think that's an incredibly neat
thing, and yet I could *never* do that. It would
drive me bonkers.

I try to save old stuff, but unless it's a true
souvenir or memento, it invariably winds up in
the trash. How soon is just a matter of how
long it takes before I get bugged out and start
winnowing my collection.
