Isn't life great? :-D > > > > julian > > Life might be great for some people, but for others it sucks. Sometimes I'm really reminded of human nature. I'm glad I joined AFD, or I'd never have read the stuff I've read. I read a poem on the AFD message board which explains pretty much all of the problems with society. And I liked it.
What I really wanted to say was that, even if life sucks for you right now, but not for [insert own choce], everything goes up and down, so later on, life will be good to you if you'll let it (and will certainly suck for [choice as above], but that's another thing). That't the way life and our perception of it work. I don't know about you, but this knowledge always helps me through crisis.
Regarding being different. It's tough if you are different and seek acceptance at the same time. History teaches us that nobody with a substantially different view of things have it easy. But that's how general human nature has always been, and I don't see it changing. However, to keep things moving forward, there have always been friends and sponsors (keeping in mind that the poems mention money) of different people. They are just harder to find. But it can be done.
