All you qould need to do to time travel is bring a plane to the north or south pole and fly around in circles. You will continually cross the International Dateline, and each revolution will send you a day into the future or past (depending on which direction you fly in). If you go around the International Dateline 365 times, you will go back or forward a YEAR!
NOTE: I say go to the north or south pole because if you do it around some other part of the world, it's wider and would take you longer to do it, maybe even more than a day.
