Today we kill at our borders to keep from illegal immigrants from coming over, we pay taxes to support the deportation of immigrants. We favor not to allow immigrants, even legal ones to come into our country. I need a standing. I personally believe that the united states should be free to any person coming over without over exhausting requirements used to dissuade or dismiss them from any attempts or opportunities of becoming a citizen. Since even my family was immigrants from poland, who gained citizenship rather easily "ship" in the later 1800's. Where do you stand?

I think I understand some of that, Dan, and I guess I agree with you. Why should an imaginary line like a border have such an impact on a person's life?

Everyday, I see people who came from Mexico, some illegally. They work hard. Their families stick together. They send money home to those who didn't make it to the promised land.

In California recently, I talked to a lady from Mexico. She said she knew she was going to have to work hard all her life, so she decided, 15 years ago, to do it in the United States where she would get something for her labor. She owned a fleet of Taxis.
