I used to go outside when I lived in a place where moonlight and trees were plentiful, and it was so breathtaking. Heh. I think it's too many when one has to turn sideways and scrape between them, or more so when one can't get between them at all. Areas like those may be only in the young stands, but older trees are taller and have longer branches, so they still end up blocking out almost all daylight. Moonlight too.
