There's one area not often thought about where I think cloning could to tremendous good... conservation. Using this judiciously, we could be able to repopulate dangerously low-population species of animals and plants. Even better, we could perhaps reverse some of the more recent extinctions caused by humankind. I've heard of experiments of this kind looking into the re-creation of the quagga. I think that's quite an interesting concept, and although I don't know how it would work in reality, I believe it's worth looking into.
