(Perhaps the runway problem helped you out.) As far as I can tell, you can never tell whether you're going to be put up, or whether you're about to generate another horror story.

Actually, I knew I would be staying in a hotel before the runway problem occurred. Delta was pretty good about the whole thing, and they put everyone in hotels, not just me.
