> For me I would either live in Michigan, > > Why??? Michigan has the greatest wilderness next to Idaho or Montana that I've ever seen. I like to go white tail dear hunting with my family in the white winters. Plus 90% of the 5 generations of my relatives who immegrated from poland live there as well. The county of Detroit has the best economy, more jobs than there are people. The great lakes are fun during the summer and I'm also able to go into canada to enjoy the bars as a 20 year old. Not to mention the number of nice young girls who are available. > Missouri, > > Why??? I spent a good portion of my childhood in st. louis. I think of all the cities I've been to, that it is the greatest for families. Not for the single man, but for the married man or one who has a family. They have great sports teams as well. Go Rams, blues and cardinals. > or california where there is no desert. > > Why??? The southwest coast is full of action, plus to consider that there you live within 8 hours of any mountain, sea, desert, wilderness, evironment that you can think of. Land of opportunity. The northern part of california I still have to travel and experience, but I hear so much. Rich lands with large trees (redwoods). > > danny'of course within the outskirts of st.louis or detroit'wyatt > > Why oh why??? I could never live within a city, for it is just too much. The noise, polution, the people. I'm a nature person myself and need a little of both country and city. In the country it is too lonely for life. Maybe for a little bit, but on an everyday occasion? So a nice neighborhood, with houses and yards. Trees and even Woods in between the houses to give some distance.
> I know were I would like to live and I'll tell you why. I like Maui, the island between Ohau and Hawaii. I like the climate and the ocean. If I had a small house on the north side of Haleakala, the dormant volcano, at about 1500 to 2000 feet, I could lead a simple life and love every minute. You don't need air > conditioning at that elevation, and you are a short motor scooter ride from the beach. At 10,024 feet, the summit has a view beyond imagination. When you are on Maui, you are a short boat ride from Molokai, a lush and beautiful, almost primative island. A short plane ride gets you to Hawaii, the biggest island in the state with mountains, beaches, ranches, deserts, active volcanos and even ski slopes. > Or an even shorter plane ride in the other direction takes you to Honolulu, the greatest city in the world. Why would anyone want to live anywhere else? > Howard
Islands are cool, I have a friend from quam, who owns about 3 acres of coastal land, costs 1,232,000 dollars. I told him he should get into the business of resorts or tourism... he said that he would look into it and maybe even take me on as a business partner..;)
