Something else that should be ready for the consumer market by now is the pollution eating radiator that Ford was about to introduce a few years ago. A catalyst in the radiator core was supposed to remove more air pollution than the engine released at the other end of the car. I think Ford said they were cost-effective and that the technology would be available free to other manufacturers. Newer cars then would reduce pollutants released by older cars and the air would clear in Los Angeles. I never believed it for a minute. Maybe some Ford engineer will read this and clear up the matter for us.
