Ahhh, well "organic toilet paper" doesnt sound that much cleaner :-) The toilet paper that we buy is quite cleverly labeled as simple "soft toilet paper", with a legend somewhere at the back saying "Made from 100% recycled paper". So for your own peace of mind there is no mention whatsoever about the papers origin. There is, however, a huge nice sticker on the front proclaiming it to be an immensely environmental friendly product :-)

You see what made me stop and wonder at the original posting was that "organic toilet paper" was mentioned in direct context with genetically altered goods. I wondered what strange type of mushrooms some scientists might be smoking these days. It sortof called up visions of madly grinning scientists carefully alterring the genes of not-quite-dead tree components into a new type of hitherto unexperienced toiletpaper experience !
