Then there was the time I was in Berlin for a few days. The hostel I stayed at had some recycled toilet paper. It (the paper, not the hostel) was made out of recycled newspapers. It looked like normal half-ply toilet paper except every so often you could see a tiny bit of newsprint. I saw the letter "e" in the middle of one sheet.
