You have GOT to be joking. Some genetically modified calves were bred at a research facility here (they had a human gene added, I think) and soon after they were born, it was decided to destroy them. Just one front-page newspaper photo later - a cute calf giving the camera major Bambi eyes - and the public outcry in favour of letting them live was incredible, weird genes or not.

If you think for one second that a cloned human infant would be hunted down by the pitchfork-and-flaming-torches wielding mob, you're either very innocent or very cynical, I can't decide which.
